Pink Bundle

This precious little bundle didn't want to sleep on the day we photographed her! But I must admit I still had the touch and was able to rock her off a couple of times.........until we put her down........... I think this one loves cuddles!! However we got some beautiful shots.

What a beautiful little button Miss Stella is! I photographed Master E when he was born and was 'tickled pink' when I had a phone call to say that they had a new little pink bundle added to their family. I was greeted at the door by little man who ran up to meet me. I love that! They grow so quickly from a little newborn to a toddler, that's why you need to grab these photos whilst they are so tiny, because you forget how small they really were.

This little Miss has a little story. She is actually almost 6 months old but she was 14 weeks premature, weighing only 1022 gms (2.2 lbs). She is doing exceptionally well and an absolute delight. When one of my friends' hubby's contacted me and said he wanted to get a photo done of the kids for my friend's birthday - I loved the idea. Then I thought of the logistics of dressing and co-ordinating three kids and two little girls at that! So he decided to tell her we were doing the photos so she could get them ready, but she had no idea what we were doing. So glad she LOVED her canvas and it was hung that night! Well done Scott!

Well it's been quite a while since my last blog post. That's because I've been working on a very exciting project, which all will be revealed in a couple of weeks!!

I finally got around to blogging this great family. I've photographed them twice before. Firstly when Mum was pregnant with bub number 2 then photographed bub who is now 2 years old!!! Now Mum is having number 3 and is due anytime now!!

I finally got to meet Dad this time and had a great afternoon at their wonderful new property out past Maitland. It was a beautiful afternoon with that perfect glowing light that we get this time of the year!

I've had the pleasure in photographing this family four times now and each time these kiddos are so well behaved and smile like little models!! It was wonderful capturing the new little Miss L, a lovely addition to the family. She's such a little cutie!

It was an 'iffy' day weather-wise but so glad we decided to risk it as the rain held off and we got some great shots.

These were his Mum's and she wanted a shot with them, so this is what I came up with. Check out the little dwarf on the left hand side in the main photo. What a wonderful weekend I had the weekend before last, up at beautiful Tamworth. Such a lovely place, but soooo cold - 8 degrees for my first shoot at 10 am!! Brrrrrrrisk!! or brrracing as my hubby would say.

I had the opportunity to meet some more gorgeous families and photograph some I had the pleasure of capturing last year, with the an extra addition to the family! What a wonderful feeling to go into someone's house and have your enlargements hanging on their walls - I love that!

I love photographing in different places, it's just great driving around and finding new little spots. Have camera - will travel!

Ohhhhh what a gorgeous family!!! I so enjoyed my morning with this couple and Master C, who is almost 3 weeks old here. I've never seen a bubby with that much blonde hair. Generally it's the dark headed bubs that have the mass of hair. He is just soo cute!

I love family stories and this is gorgeous - the ring that bub has in his hand here is a Scottish family tradition that has been handed down for over 400 years. The stamp is a family crest of Dad's family name and it is handed down to his son to have a ring made up for himself. And also the wife of the son gets a ring too. How precious is that!!!

I loved photographing at this gorgeous location!! Wow - 100 acres of beautiful land, stunning views, tranquility, a gorgeous house and a beautiful family!! What more can one little ol' photographer ask for?

These clients have just sold their property and were moving out, and wanted to capture the memories of their beautiful property. Surrounded by rolling hills, trees and peace and quiet - aaahhh the serenity (sigh!) why did I have to go back to reality?

These little ones were sooo cute. Check out the gorgeous hair on little Miss T, she is certainly full of life and such a little character! Master J is an adorable little boy, check out the big brown eyes.

Just Gorgeous!

Oh boy, oh boy!!! How on earth could I throw only a couple of shots from this shoot up on the blog! What a fabulous afternoon last week, with this gorgeous family. The kids are just so beautiful. I left there with a stunning bunch of roses from Mum’s garden and a precious little picture drawn by 4 year old Miss R and a letter from Miss L. I had tears in my eyes. Yet another reason why I LOVE what I do!!! Here's a 'few' from the session.

This was an extended family shoot for their parents' 40th wedding anniversary - how special.

I had the pleasure in photographing this gorgeous little bundle yesterday. Fresh out of the oven Little Miss A is only 10 days old. She's such a little doll - I was clucking!

I love being able to photograph in the family's home using their environment and things they have in their house, that is personal to them.

Growing up

I had a great weekend at my girlfriend's house last weekend in Sydney. We haven't seen one another for a while so there wasn't much sleeping going on, we had lots to catch up on!! In between the rain, I managed to snap some shots yesterday of her growing family. It's amazing how much toddlers change from being a dependent little baby to a 'little miss independent" in the blink of an eye.

It's been 12 months since I've seen little Miss C and hasn't she grown! She is full of zest, this little one and cracked me up so many times over the weekend. I think she's definitely 22 years old, not 2 years old!!!

OH BOY! I just didn't know where to start to blog photos from this gorgeous family! I could have blogged sooo many!! This was a fun filled crazy afternoon with these little munchkins!!

I often have people say to me, gee you photograph some gorgeous kids, well this family is no exception! Just how cute are they?

It was a stunning afternoon, considering the up and down weather we've been experiencing lately.

It was so much fun that little Miss A decided to strip down to bare naked and run though the water at the end. It's just gorgeous watching kids enjoy themselves at the beach, such free spirited!

Look at those eyes! I just melted looking through the lens. Master W is such a gorgeous little boy, with a beautiful nature who likes to take care of his little sisters and brother.

I absolutely LOVE this shot!! I LOVE the laughter on little Miss A's face in the centre, just pure fun!

Happy New Year to all my fantastic clients!! I had the pleasure of photographing many wonderful families in 2009 and want to thank you all so much for your continued support and the many referrals I have received! Without you, my clients, Heart in Motion Photography wouldn't be where it is today.

I'm looking foward to a fabulous 2010 with the opening of my new studio!!!! I'm very excited about the great new products and projects happening too!

I opened the studio a few weeks prior to Christmas however due to this crazy time of year, I was just way too busy to photograph it and announce it on the blog!

The studio is located in 'downtown' Wangi Wangi in the main street, Watkins Road. It's right on the corner so you can't miss it!! It also has beautiful water views and easy parking!! (Not to mention coffee of course!)

I'll look forward to seeing you in 2010!!!

We had a lovely afternoon, despite the unpredictable weather and we didn't have one drop of rain. The colours and the location worked beautifully. I've been soo busy that I haven't had a chance to blog for awhile.

These are such gorgeous little girls. The grandmother contacted me about taking photos of her precious little grandaughters a little while ago and then bubby number 3 came along! The two older ones are sisters and the new little bub is their brand new 2 week old cousin.

We braved the weather a couple of weeks ago when it really looked like it was going to pour with rain. So glad we decided to go ahead! The old shed and long grass made for a great backdrop.

I love this shot of Mum and Dad, we often forget about ourselves being a couple, and are always just "Mum and Dad" . I always love to capture the relationship of the parents as I often hear "Oh the last time we had a photo together it was at our wedding!!!!" It's so important to me as they are the foundation of any family.

We had fun shooting these cousins the other afternoon, what a pretty backdrop with the gorgeous pink flowers! We had a range of ages but all worked beautifully. The little one took a bit of convincing to sit with her cousins but we managed a shot!! Here's a sneak peak.

I had the pleasure of photographing a girlfriend and her gorgeous family a week or so ago. It was sooo hard to choose the images for the blog, I could have blogged sooo many!!! These little girls are just little models and what a beautiful models they are!!!! The colours, the outfits, the wonderful light - all made a for a great shoot.

I had a lovely afternoon with them, it was great to capture their family connections, filled with lots of laughter, fun and much love!!

This is the new little 'pink' addition to this family. I've photographed the family twice before and it was lovely to meet little Miss L, who is 2 weeks old. The girls were the only ones home so we had lots of fun capturing their little one. Big sis was such a great little helper, I'm thinking about hiring her as my new assistant!!!

DOWN ON THE FARM

What a beautiful afternoon, the weather was perfect, the location superb and the families were great! What else can you ask for?

I had the pleasure of photographing this extended family just outside Maitland on a farm that they'd grown up on. This place holds great memories for the three sisters and their parents, and it made such a fantastic backdrop for their family portraits.

We had lots of fun and laughs and the cousins sure had a great time together. I was so thrilled to see the grandparents so willing to be in the photos, that doesn't always happen! Here's a sneek peak..........

I just love this shot!!! I asked the kids to give me the gumpiest face they could and this is what I got - it was such a classic, the next click was great as they were all cracking up!!

Well this was certainly not your usual family portrait request!!!!

These gorgeous grandparents asked me to photograph their grandkids with the plane that their Grandad is MAKING!! Yes, HE is building it and YES he is going to fly it! Oh yes, he does have a pilot's licence. So we had the plane parked out the front of their house and we took photos with the kids in it! Definitely something different for Heart in Motion this month!!!!

Not sure that I'd like to go on the maiden voyage though, I'm a big chicken!

Little Munchkins

Oh how I LOVE becoming the family photographer. This is the fourth time I've photographed these gorgeous little munchkins. It's amazing watching them grow! They gave me a good workout the other afternoon, phew, I was chasing them all over the place. Lots of laughs, as usual with you guys!

Check out little Miss A, with the handbag and phone, such a little lady, absolutely cracked me up. Isn't it funny how they pick things up and mimic the parents. I shot an amazing series of photos with the phone and handbag, I LOVE them!!

Delightful days

OH BOY!! This was a fabulous shoot yesterday! What a great family, these kids are just sooo gorgeous! I could have kept on shooting til dark! Yep, it was typical Kylie yesterday, with tears in my eyes, when I took some of these shots. There's something about looking through my lens and seeing that soul of the child looking back at me, I can't explain how it touches me! Just to add to my wonderful afternoon, I got some great hugs when I was leaving too........all of this is why I L O V E my job!!!

Our Tropical North QLD holiday

Here's a few pics from our recent holiday to Tropical North QLD in Port Douglas and around the Cairns area. Port Douglas is such a beautiful quaint little town an hour's drive north of Cairns, full of great cafes/restaurants and shops.

The first few shots are from our trip to Kuranda which we caught the old train up the mountain. This was built over 100 years ago and all on the side of the mountain - incredible engineering!

Once at the top at Kuranda we visited the Butterfly Farm and the Bird Sanctuary. The kids loved it!

These next few shots are of Mosman Gorge, where we stopped for a nice walk on way up to the Daintree and Cape Tribulation.

It was just gorgeous light here!

This was on the Daintree River - mmm not such a great place to go swimming! This was one of many crocs we saw on the hour cruise, yikes!

I had the pleasure of meeting this gorgeous family 2 years ago when little Master M was born. I was thrilled to be asked back to photograph their newest addition to their family. Little Miss E who is 4 months old here is just a delight.

Master M met me at the door and helped me carry in my gear, last time I saw him was only a few weeks old. I LOVE being there to capture all these special moments for my families.

We had fun trying to get photos of the two littlies together, but we managed some great shots! Big brother loves his little sis, and doesn't it show!!

Oh how beautiful is this baby boy, little Master J, only 2 weeks old when I photographed him. He was such a fantastic little model baby, and stared straight into the camera!!

Big sister Miss T didn't want too much to do with little bro this morning, but we managed to get some great shots when she did!!

I was so thrilled to receive a Silver Award at the National AIPP Professional Photography Awards in Sydney at the weekend. This is the first time I have entered, so I was very excited to get an award.

This image is actually from a client's christening shoot that I did in April this year. This dress was over 100 years old and had great meaning to the family. I felt I had to capture it in a way that reflected it's past, perhaps a little mystery behind it as well.

HEART IN MOTION ON ASSIGNMENT.

A couple of weeks ago I had the absolute pleasure of photographing 5 families and 2 commerical shoots in beautiful downtown Tamworth!!!! I had a wonderful weekend, meeting all of these great families. The weather was wonderful and very kind to us and we all had lots of fun. For those of you who haven't been to Tamworth, it's a beautiful country town with lots of greatl locations to shoot with it's many parks, heritage buildings etc. I also had the pleasure to photograph at a homestead out of town which was just stunning (that's the one with the family in the purple) and also at another family's house, just outside of town where I got so many different looks on their property (the two little girls). Yep, Tamworth is a great place with great coffee and restaurants too (just a pity it's 4 hours from the coast!!!)

Melting Hearts

Oh boy, look at these gorgeous kids. They just melt your heart. I had a fabulous shoot with these two little gentleman and little miss, a couple of weeks ago and they were a delight to photograph. These two little boys were absolute charmers, so well behaved and such PERFECT models, it made my job sooooo easy!!!

Check out their gorgeous smiles, I'd say these little guys are going to melt a few hearts, in years to come!!!!
